February 14, 2008Sorry for the lack of updates as of late, I have been slightly ill. Expect a double-bill of reviews, namely of Cloverfield and Juno.
In the meantime, I present to you: Nicholas Cage, dressed as a bear, punching a woman in the face.
Is this that Wickerman movie? I’ve heard it’s terrible but I can’t see how something that arrives at a scene like this can possibly be bad.
Oh, it’s an amazing film alright. Amazing in the way that most Nick Cage films tend to be.
Watch the original, that one’s actually good, in a non-ironic way.
Funny Cage story today actaully. I’m at the local hip movie rental place where they have their stuff organized by directors and actors of prominence. This woman askes the guy if they have a Nick Cage section? He says no. She askes where she could find Peggy Sue Got Married? I say Coppola. Then I ask if they have a David Mamet section (we’re doing Mamet March or trying on the futilepodcast) he says no. So I figure I’ll get a job there until this podcast thing starts printing it’s own money.
